I am currently a PhD student in the Behavioral Neuroscience division of the Psychology Department at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
In May of 2015 I received my Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.
My research interests include how different stress reactivity, dopamine, and serotonin expression/production genes are mediated via epigenetic pathways. Additionally, I am interested in measuring DNA methylation levels of these genes with saliva and blood cell based techniques. I would like to see these questions applied to the pathology of schizophrenia and to high-risk adolescent groups.
My major interests outside of science include watching professional sports (Go Cubs go!), working with wood and other home improvement projects, and the stock market/world economies.
